Checking in files

Checking in a file uploads the file (presumably edited) back to its parent document and releases the lock that was set by checking the file out. Checked-in files are removed from the My recent items view.

Note    You can upload files using one of two different methods, Drag and drop upload as described in Adding files with drag and drop upload or Classic upload as described in Adding files with classic upload. The default method depends on your active Default upload type option described in Configuring user interface settings. The following steps use the Drag and drop upload method.
